Here was a challenging mandate with an entrepreneurial and exacting vision on the part of the airport. Its Management intended to reach a specific energy goal: to be less dependent on fossil fuels. KIGO proved to be the most appropriate, innovative solution. Why? Our panels react efficiently despite often extreme conditions in these working hangars: large volume, height, large doors often opened to allow fire truck traffic, aircrafts under maintenance work, cleanliness. Our panels perform at low temperature and allow the use of energy forms other than fossil fuels since our system is nimble and can be easily sized to address any size configuration or use requirement. We had essentially the tools needed to complete the mandate issued by VA. Valerio Pittueo, chief of building installation services at GVA commented: « The collaboration between GVA and KIGO was excellent. Our maintenance halls equipped with KIGO provide us great satisfaction in terms of comfort. We have other halls which still use gas heaters and we will be able to quantify the KIGO benefits soon. Our energy consumption goals are well defined and we intend to evaluate KIGO for future transformations ».
